There’s nothing like my first sip of English Toffee Cappuccino. My carpool humors me every morning and allows me to stop by a local coffee shop to get my morning libation. Even if it’s a snowy and icy morning everyone knows we have to make that stop. I look forward to that, and I’m grateful to have morning companions who understand.
We’ve just come out of a Buffalo winter. Our windows are open and every morning at 5:15 I can hear the birds singing. It’s wonderful! I know that if I lived in a city where I could hear these birds every morning 12 months out of the year I would not have such an appreciation for their song. But I know that November will be here and their song will be silenced, so I lie in bed and savor their serenade.
What’s your morning highlight?

In the AM the thing I look most forward to is checking my email and phone to see what I missed when I was asleep!
The simplest thing that I take notice of is nature…. specifically plants and flowers. Without them we wouldn't exist and they need our attention as well once we take them out of their natural habitat!
the sky, the sun, the morning nicotine.
A morning cup of coffee with French Vanilla Coffeemate while watching an old sitcom like Seinfeld or King Of Queens. When I wake up I can’t wait to get my shower over with so that I can have this moment.
