What is Confidence? Confidence is very fickle and can easily get you in trouble, but it also is a must in this world.

According to the dictionary…

con⋅fi⋅dence

1. full trust; belief in the powers, trustworthiness, or reliability of a person or thing: We have every confidence in their ability to succeed.
2. belief in oneself and one’s powers or abilities; self-confidence; self-reliance; assurance: His lack of confidence defeated him.
3. certitude; assurance: He described the situation with such confidence that the audience believed him completely.

Everything in this world has to do with confidence. It is the basis of everyone’s daily life. Let’s look at some examples:

• The people of the world have no confidence in the banking system and/or the decisions of current government. There is no confidence in a recovery in the near future so money is tucked away. Until the confidence level strengthens we are guaranteed more trouble and money will not be spent.
• Women love men with confidence. Confidence is a major key in the laws of attraction.
• Confidence allows you and I to make decisions and follow through with them. This applies to business and everyone’s daily life. What if the Google founders had no confidence? How about Microsoft?
• Confidence in selling yourself… Period.

This list will never end. What this world needs is more confidence. You can create your own. Everyone has failed in some way. Failure approached with the right mindset will build confidence. How? Once you have failed you have one more reason to succeed!

So if confidence rules the world how does over confidence get us into trouble?

   I agree… Confidence is a HUGE player in the world. How would we do anything without it? On the other hand if everyone had a solid grasp of their own confidence than the world would be a much different place!
